Daytona Update
A brief update on what's been happening in the last couple of weeks.
A quick update on the Daytona since the issues that occured on my wedding day. The faulty windscreen wipers has been traced to the switch on the stalk. Replacements for these can be difficult to source, probably because this is a common fault on both the Daytona and the similarly equipped 308, so a lot of spares have been needed! However, my Dad used his extensive knowledge of the classic Ferrari parts network to source a replacement. Thanks Dad!
The car also now sports a fresh M.O.T. (to our overseas readers, this is the UK Department of Transport’s annual vehicle safety inspection, required for all cars more than three years old) and should now be ready for the summer classic motoring season.
Weather permitting, I hope to take the Daytona down to Goodwood for their Tax Free Breakfast in a couple of weeks time. If you’re there and you see me and the Daytona, do come and say hello.
